North Corktown Single Family Home Repair Program Guidelines
Thank you for your interest in the North Corktown Neighborhood Association Small Home Repair Program. We are excited to launch our Small Home Repair Program. Please review the guidelines and section below to qualify for our program.
Residents:
• Applicants must be long time (10+ year residents) and reside in a home in the North Corktown neighborhood to be eligible for this program. This requirement can be satisfied by providing a lease and letter from the landlord of the home or homeowner or proof of land contract.
Number of Repairs:
• Within the submitted application, applicants will rank 3 home repairs or 3 installations needed. Applicants are asked to provide a rough estimate for each cost.
Services Provided:
• The NCNA Board is responsible for covering all approved services provided in this program; applicants will not be required to pay for approved repairs.
Tasks Performed:
• Applicants who are selected for this program can repair or replace porches, stairs, electrical issues, plumbing, gutters, exterior sliding, windows, and roofs. Funds can be used to repair or replace furnaces or hot water tanks.
Partnership:
• The NCNA has partnered with contractors across the state to perform the work within this program. If you know of a contractor in our area seeking work, please have them contact us.
Selection:
• The NCNA Board will review all applications that are submitted. Applicants will be contacted via email or by phone once selections have been made.
